“Set within a sprawling 147 acres, the property features an 18-hole championship golf course and spaces designed to host elegant weddings; I noticed the hotel dedicates itself to one wedding per day, a touch that signals exclusivity. Newly refurbished rooms in the heritage wing blend modern aesthetics with the building's historic charm, making for a comfortable and stylish stay, in my opinion, and the dining here has an award-winning pedigree, too. A tranquil leisure retreat with a personal touch.”

I had high hopes for my stay given the spa and peaceful surroundings, but my experience was quite mixed. The room I received was uncomfortable due to noise and heating issues, which made it hard to fully relax. On a positive note, the dining was excellent and the breakfast was enjoyable. However, I really wish the hotel had communicated more effectively about the facilities available.

Although the hotel facilities were good, I found the staff to be unfriendly, particularly during our late-night experience at the bar. Overall, it was an enjoyable yet slightly disappointing stay due to the service quality, but I would return for family reasons.
